Week 4 Pregnancy

Today is week four and considering that we just found out we are expecting our 2nd child this is incredable.

Life is so very amazing and wondering, this is a miracle.
We all began at this stage.
Im so very excited about this new life.

embryo in first month Although your belly is still the same size and shape as it was pre-pregnancy, a plethora of amazing and dynamic changes are taking place despite this fact. Right now your little zygote is already 1.5 – 2.5mm in size. This is quite a change from the microscopic pack of cells you had just two weeks ago. Your microscopic little one is already composed of three complex “germ” layers: the ectoderm, endoderm and mesoderm. Although you could hardly see them at this point, these layers are the beginnings of your baby's nervous system and brain, stomach and inner organs, and skeleton and connective tissue. Your baby is also starting to take on recognizable physical dimensions somewhat comparable to a very tiny pear. The round part of the pear will eventually become the head and the pointy part will be the spine. Perhaps the best part of this week is that somewhere around the 21st day, your miraculous little pear will have a beating heart, although the heart chambers and valves will not be completely developed for another couple weeks.Calcium is an essential vitamin during the pregnancy as your body will strip calcium from your bones to build the bones of your baby if you don’t have enough supplemental calcium in your system doctors recommend starting a prenatal vitamin early on in the pregnancy. Yep, now is the perfect time to begin! For those of you with lactose intolerance, practicing vegans and vegetarians, as well as women with a history of substance abuse, chronic disease, or the minority who are expecting twins (or more!), you are in even higher need of a prenatal vitamin to supplement and fend off the all-too-easy nutrient deficiencies you're prone to experience in your pregnancy. Calcium is an essential vitamin during the pregnancy as your body will strip calcium from your bones to build the bones of your baby if you don’t have enough supplemental calcium in your system. This is also a critical reason older women are so much more prone to osteoporosis: they simply didn't get enough calcium during their child-bearing years. Contact your primarey health care giver or local health food store nutritionist to identify the correct vitamin(s) for you and your baby. info on this blog post was found on this link

Aspartame and Soda Dont Dirnk iT

It seems so hard to find things that dont have added crap and poison to our foods and drinks. Epically when we are pregnant we need to watch what we ingest and it just makes me so sad that there is just so much junk out there.

 Aspartame
Most soda and pops have this poison inside of it. DONT drink it!
This poison is in all kinds of foods and drinks. We already know it can cause cancer and diabetes and this is a very dangerous drug our government has issued to the public im convinced for population control or some other strange reason.  Most defiantly don't take this while your pregnant.

Aspartame is a calorie-free sweetener used in a wide variety of soft drinks, candies, and food products. Long-term use of the chemical food aspartame has been linked with cancer and immunotoxicity, so the use of aspartame during pregnancy is advised against. A new sweetener called neotame is now available amidst concerns about aspartame, however, no conclusive studies have been conducted on neotame's side effects. Its a chemical and this should be avoided as well.During pregnancy, check the labels on your food products for artificial sweeteners. Try using natural sweeteners, like honey, in your foods, instead of aspartame.

Today Our Lives Forever Change

Me my husband and our 4 year old son just made it back home from the rainbow gathering of the tribes.
I camped out in the wilderness/off grid for 6 days.We have lived off grid for 6 months before in the jungle of Hawaii befeore and after having gone through that and experienced 2 miscarriages my/our hearts were shattered.
I /we obviously wannted to try and wait for more children but after having lost 2 children mt heart was broken.
I sant into a deep depression went back on anti depressants and other phyc drugs ,started drinking again and got way far away from where i ever wannted to be.
time went by and mt heart healed, prayer after prayer. I searched my soul inside out . Let go and forgave. Surrendered and had faith.
Now i realize that all will be well and just fine.
We will and are taken care of.
All our needs are met.
Our lives are FULL of positive abundance.
We have wonderful beautiful friends.
We have everything we need and much more.
Have faith and fill your heart with love and light and all will be right.

Today we had the inclination to go to CVS, i have been exhausted and extremely tired and worn down.My husband went to CVS for me while o laid down for a nap.
They came back home in about 20 min. we chatted and i decided to take the EPT pregnancy test and in less than 40 seconds the digital pregnancy tesyt flashed for the last time and the word about to be shown was what i have been waiting for for 3 years.
PREGNANT

Im shocked, im elated,im so full of happiness and love light and wonder.
Im sacred and hope that this child is meant to be a part of our lives.
I called our spirit family to us,and prayed for the right soul to be incarnated that i may give that soul life through the divine.
The ultimate mothership.
its amazing and wonderful.
i have been waiting so long for you and now your here i want to do everything right.
TO build you a beautiful body that you will have and use for the entirety of your life.
May it be long and beautiful full of love and adventure wonder and joy all things good and positive.
Today is the most beautiful day.
Im pregnant. We are going to have another beautiful addition to our family, im so excited.

i pray for thsi child to be blessed, safe, healthy and to be born full of life, love ,light, joy, enlightenment and widsom . May this child be blessed.
I promise to do all i can,the right way to help you grow.
To be healthy and loving.
this will be wonderful.
please krsna let this be real, this is what i have wanted for so many years, i promise to do my very best.

We weaned!

Weaning from breastfeeding is very a delicate situation becuase bf your child is such a connection and emotional comfort for both baby and mother it is very hard to wean away from this and find another way to connect .
So we have finnaly done it! I on a ocassion bf just for the comfrt reasons for our son but he now sleeps in his own bed, gets up early and is starting to eat much more regualr food.so this is a great thing that we have done. i do miss bf our son becuase now he doesnt want to cuddle and just wants his daddy all the time :( but were learning to figure it out.

Working on it

Well i still have in mind to wean and end this phase of my/our lives but yet it seems our son is not quite ready to totally wean. We only typically nurse at night and allthough i wish to 100% wean. Slowly is the best. Clod turkey i know can be very negative for him so i think this slow weaning process will be best.
Im fasting right now which is another reason i dont him to drink much of my milk because im sure alot of toxins are in my milk so im reporting that i realize slow is better than cold turkey after hours of crying and me feeling really bad.
I will give him a bit more time but it must be fading out, soon.

Bitys First Real Christmas 3

Since the last 2 Christmas's for him have been something he doesn't really remember much and last year we lived on a island with not much interest for Christmas we went all out this year. Which reminds me that maybe I should remember somethings I learned about this Christmas for next years. Its rather hard when people ask you what your child would like for xmas , like grandmas and great grandmas and then they want to argue with you on what they think your child would want. Then the rivalry comes in that so in so has to get the same gift or else they will get jealous and then aunts and uncles will be upset and on and on. This is how Christmas is in my family. So hopefully next year it will be nice but quiet with out so many expectations.
Bub got what he wanted which was a wooden train set. He LOVES it and there is nothing that can replace that look on his face when he walked down the stairs and saw all his gifts under the tree just waiting for him.
He is such a kind and sweet child and he was sooo thankful for all he got from “santa” which I told him was not a real person but an idea that he once lived and now the memory of giving lives on.

A New Year a New Start

This is 2009 , finally!
I have decided with espically the stress im under and for health reasons to start the weaning process of our 2/12 year old son which will be 3 in april.

So I guess we are on the road to weaning from breastfeeding.
Getting them to find your breast when your children are first born is the easy part then weaning is a whole different story.
I decided to go with long term breastfeeding but our son is now turning3 years old soon and I personally feel for myself I m ready to stop.
Breastfeeding has been a wonderful journey with our son building bonds that are so very important and strong but It really hurts me to see him cry and ask for my milk and I just simply cant any longer.
We happen to co sleep as well and so I have not really got a good nights rest in 3 years.
Co sleeping is wonderful but I think that they should sleep in a “side car “ bed and then eventually off to their own bed.
By nature I roll around a lot at night, one side to the other then on my belly. When I have to roll over and breastfeed all night I cant move. Im between my husband and my son. Not comfortable and irritated because im so uncomfortable.

Yet I feel so sad that this part of both of our lives is soon to be over. I remember just like yesterday he was a new born in my arms so tiny and fragile. Breastfeeding has been a great way for us to connect even if we have a disagreement.
He needs to rely more on solid foods, he tends to be very picky and does obviously eat normal foods just not the kind of variety I would like him to have.
So right along with many other things im starting here in the new year this is one of my newest ventures...

Bubba has Roseola

Our poor bub has roseola, i think.
babby matty had it a few days ago and now bit has a high fever and bumps that appear to be rosey.
thanksgiving was busy this year as usual as it always is when you have children. there is a list of many people xpecting to see you and all you woul dlike to do is have your own thanksgiving your way in your house so you can relax and sleep after you stuff your face instead of have to drive somehwere else!
Bity loved to see everyone grandmas and grandpas and cusions and freinds he loves it. sadly they like for him to be a bit more quiet than he is used too around his house. we dont restrict him , we allow him to be himself within reason of not hurting others or himself.
the noise we are used too.
he is growing up so much i realize that im getting ready for another life to embrace int our family.
bit keeps saying over and over "train set mamma" he wants a train set so bad he cant stand it!
he loves trains and cars tractors plows andything like that.
i cant wait to give him his gifts and watch his eyes glow and his heart be full of greatful thanks for christmas, which is only a month away.
i sure hope he is feeling better soon!
lots of slow days ahead of us i perdict.
warm baths, lots of water fruit and cold cloths and warm love from mother.
mothers nectur from the heart
kind patience is what really makes you feel better when your sick.

Back at home

This summer we really have had a busy one.
Bubba has went to the baby sitters for the first time! Saras and to annas.
WE opened our shop and i have been gone alot getting our business open and running so he stayed at home . Which was really hard because he lacked any real interaction or dicipline just running wild and crazy with no direction.
so i have been back home and it is really the most satisfying thing i have done.
i love to be a stay at home mom and wish i could just stay at home and raise our son and teach him the positive things of the world and how to manovour throug the tough parts too.
right now were spenind the most time we have with eachother in months.
i love it

Halloween First Trick Or Treat!

This was bubbah's first trick or treat experience!
He didnt have a halloween last year when we lived in
Hawaii.
Hawaii didnt really celebrate Halloween which is my main holiday that i celebrate and it should be in our pagan family.
pagan menaing something other than christian in the usa.
he had so much fun!
I couldnt beleive it
he was running up and down the side walks and screaming in joy with his little cusion mykayla.
we picked her up and dressed her up as a little fairy princess she was so pretty and bub was soooo cute and adoraeable rarringgggggg at everyone that went by.
We went to the halloween zoo celebration the 30th and it was very enjoyably besides the 30min wait and the fact they didnt give you much candy for 15 $ admission but he really had a great time!

finding a balance

as a new mother with my first child im learning how to find a balance.
a balance on all levels.
the difference between having just yourself and having a being that came out of your very body that is dependent on you for nourishment and love and everything you can possibly think of can throw you out of balance.when your used to just yourself is a big difference.
learning how to be selfless and still be able to take care of yourself and your new family

what is needed now is a balance between work and being a mother.the idea of being a stay at home mum is wonderful but the current set up or our society and government has made is nearly impossible to do with out being under the poverty line. but it is possible. i just work on weekends and spend the rest of the week teaching and showing our pod what goes on

the balance is in work and being at home that is needed.
with out feeling gulity for working and going away

sleepy time

when ever it comes down to the end of the day after bath time and a movie and a short play time before bed time it seems kids still have energy and still want to go go go !
well im into staying up late and even still he wants to stay up later! so it comes to a point where we just have to say " its bed time tomorrow is waiting for us and its full of play" and we just have to let them be upset and cry even to know time for bed is time for bed!

pod never sleeps with covers on for some reason im not sure why but he tends to wake up if you cover him up. very weird....but ok what ever works!

visiting grandma

we are back visiting grandma and are staying with them for the time being...

we had a long long flight here and are just now getting adjusted its been 2 weeks now.
pod is finally getting warmed up to the big clunky black lab gabe that is so much bigger than pod no wonder he is reluctant to be around him!
well now he will play games with him such as...giving smabe dishtowel's and his plastic toys and stuffed animals because he knows hes not supposed too! he thinks it so funny!

i bought him one of those kitchen sets with plastic pretend food he really enjoys it i have him"cook" while im preparing meals it works rather well.

we now have lesson plans with a weekly letter and animal
he can now say:
CAT
hot
no
smay ? i dont know what that means
mum
daad
dag or dog
hi
bye

he loves to go outside and play with sidewalk chalk and drawl pretty stuff about
he takes lawn ornaments and carries them around epically if they are animals like a frog or a bunny

Thomas the tank engine is also a new love for him
when ever he sees it he gets EXCITED!

we still watch kipper the dog but he rather play and just listen to it

we play cars and trucks with ramps and fun races

tea time with a children's size plastic tea set with water or pretend tea

Untitled

being a active present mother is first and foremost in my life and should be in any mothers heart. the rasing of our little peices of self.i strive and give the best of myself and yes even the worst of self but self none the less.
be present with your children
give love and affection
and just let them be themselves
this is the best gift

16 months-lost blog again!

I want to bitch really quick how i lost the blog again and thats why i really haven't posted in a year!i fixed the problem so were back in business!

lets see here bit is 16 almost 17 months old....
yesterday he pooped in the bathtub for the first time! what a mark in time!
he really didn't know what to do and actually was quite alarmed when it happned. I explanied what happened and quickly rinsed him and the tub.

last week he got to play with another little baby just 6 months younger and we watched him again today. Last week is when hurrican Flossie was to hit hawaii and we went to the beach and the winds were very high and the sand flew across the beach pelting us with stinging sand so we didnt stay too long. there were no waves that day, very errie
that night there was a earthquake! a 5.4 and the house swayed side to side! it was quite scary our first earthquake!

lets see today we baby sat tuka again and had a great baby play time.
i enjoy seeing my young bit interact with another baby near his own age.
it seems he shares when he feels like it and is still warming up to the idea of sharing.
bit will help throw away dirt on the floor and anything you give to him to throw away in the garbage can. he may be closer to be ready for a brother or sister!

his teeth are coming in rapidly...as of now he has about 16 teeth...

daddy taught him 3 days ago how to crunch and chew his food like seeds...almonds and sunflower seeds...its fun to watch him learn new things.

he has a push toy that pops...a popper he loves to push it around the house its one of his new favorite things...

climbing is a new thing and is as dangerous as it is annoying

July 27- new teeth

Sometimes its hard to remember where it is that I left off last time…or what has happened that I have not had the time to log…

So pod is growing so very much he will 4 months next week and the times seems to be flying by. im getting used to our routine although it changes a lot…

Pods teeth are coming in his bottom and his top teeth I can feel them. It has to hurt because he has been very fussy and normally he is just one happy podling.

He has been going to grandmas about 3 times a week while I go to work. He is starting not to like his swing chair anymore and will soon be graduating into his playstation thingy as well as a jumper :} how cool

july 7th-cutting teeth

July 7th

Well this week pod has been getting fussy due to the fact that his first 2 bottom teeth are emerging causing him discomfort.

Poor pod pod….he is getting very strong his head is a lot stronger now and we are setting him up against pillows and stuff so he can get a feel for how it is to sit up by himself.

He still enjoys his swing immensely .

As time seems to be going by so fast he is no longer a little tiny baby yet of course he is still small but not tiny…how time does fly…

I see now why people have a lot of kids because babys are so wonderful…children are so wonderful. He has been doing good when I have to take him to grandmas when I have to go to work…which I have only been doing a few days( 1- 3) a week for 4 hours .

Its so amazing to watch him discover his hands and chew on them for relief from his gums…he watches and inspects my paintings and loves to look at them and he will watch tv(movies) we are going to try to let him watch only kids movies with a good story and meaning with no junk tv… I would ust rather kill our tvs and kiss them good bye.
its been 3 months that pod has been here outside of my ripe belly its differant yet im so glad hes here on the outside of my body...i guess no one will ever know...what it is what it feels like to be one...one with the child we created except me and pod... favorite had the pleasure of experiencing our pregnancy through me....yet i was the one with the direct experience

week 11

Today we had to take pod for his 2ond month check up but in reality he will be three months in a week!

So they gave him 3 shots today and it really made him cry his face turned red and he was crying very much and I stated to cry and so did jonny :{the nurse was incompetent and kind of a moron. She just seemed to not have any ability to absorb us or anything for that matter.

Anyways…

Pod is doing great. Today he got his first shots. he has been sleeping so much today we went to my mums and he just started screaming and my mom was like well why dont you give him meds?
i dont take meds and neither does he and what was really the cleancher was that when he was crying she was trying to take over and take care of him. im like wo.. um im the mother not you...go away. so we left and he cryed all the way home face red tears falling from his beautiful blue eyes.
he was still crying so i was trying to open his tylonel and that damn thing wouldnt open and so i used a knife becuase the damn siccors are never to be found in our house so guess what while he is screaming face red and tears falling becuase of those god damn shots they gave him i slice my finger open so there is blood gushing everywhere and now im screaming...hungry...tired...at home alone no one to help me i think im gonna pass out there was alot of blood...my phone of course was totally dead i couldnt even use it when i plugged it in peice of shit! OMG WTF??!!
so he has been sleeping alot today

week 9 and 10

Week 9 and 10

Wow time files doesn’t it?

Sometimes I cant seem to keep up with how fast time just seems to wander by.

Pod is getting so BIG!! Wow I cant believe how big pod is getting. So many things have been going on the past couple weeks.

He is cooing, in the sense that he seems to be “talking” when we talk he makes long drawled out sounds .

Pod can hold his head up almost perfectly now. He is starting to fling him self forward.

He sleeps a lot still he sleeps with us and sleeps good throughout the night.
